Mohammad Jakir Hossain was awarded Doctor of Engineering in Space Science from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia. Dr. Mohammad Jakir Hossain joined at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur in 2006. He is currently serving as a professor of EEE Dept.at DUET, since 2020. His research interests include Metamaterials, Metamaterial-based absorbers, Antenna, Communication, IoT, and PLC. He has authored or co-authored approximately 21 referred journals, 5 book chapters and 4 conference papers. Dr. Hossain is a life fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
